ENABLING A SAFER WORLD WITH DRONES
Cubic Mission and Performance Solutions (CMPS) is the leading provider of specialist training solutions in the military, law enforcement, and security organisations worldwide. The organisation is changing the defence training for the British Armed Forces by merging virtual reality with live training exercises in this continually advancing technological world. From providing support at mass gatherings and events to going undercover in some of the most dangerous geographical locations known to man, their team have done it all.
Cubic uses multi rotor aircraft up to 20Kg in weight. Cubic has 6 UAV military pilots that operate the aerial commercial division, 4 of whom have extensive UAS experience, all of which thrive in their missions using Clogworks Dark Matter, a drone fully integrated with Sky-Drones Technology.
Engineering at its finest, Cubic can attach up to 100m of power tether onto their Dark Matter drones. Reaching an altitude of 100m gives them the absolute advantage with an unlimited power supply, making Cubic the leader when it comes to complex surveillance missions, search and rescue flights, quality monitoring, and so much more.
A tethered drone with a constant supply of power has proven to be a market leader when it comes to pop-up communication, ensuring the constant ability to communicate without a loss of connection or power, meaning a more accurate, effective and successful mission.
Integrated into Cubic’s Dark Matter UAV Sky-Drones SmartAP Clogworks autopilot and SmartAP GCS designed specifically to optimise the Dark Matter by Clogworks. This dedicated software provides maximum navigation control and precision whatever the weather, has a specifically engineered tether mode making it even quicker and easier to get a tethered Dark Matter up in the air. The software has built-in functionality including automatic take off, landing, waypoints flight and more. SmartAP GCS provides operator UAV control, telemetry and camera feeds.
With a multitube of attachable payloads and the ability to carry in excess of 7.5kg in wide environmental conditions, Cubic can range from additional camera streaming with 4k GoPro-style cameras, to infra-red detection cameras. Alongside a vast collection of payloads, customers can also request their own to be added to the drone for the mission at hand, allowing each flight to be a unique and customer orientated experience.
Aerial photos, aerial videos, and aerial surveillance from some of the most experienced pilots in the field. Cubic takes full advantage of the Sky-Drones Cloud software; a database for their entire fleet of UAV's. The application allows operators to observe the mission progress remotely from anywhere in the world, providing additional situational awareness and allowing an even more secure and undercover operation.
Removing the predictable exportation of spreadsheets to analyse mission efficiency, Sky-Drones Cloud offers a centralised database with no distribution of data across multiple channels; a real added security measure for the most covert of missions. Furthermore, with such a wide variety of payloads available to Cubic, the Cloud software has the ability to analyse and record payload data as well as tracking real-time locations of vehicles, optimising mission success.
